We started out the weekend with a Real Salt Lake soccer game. Scott love love loves soccer and Real Salt Lake so he was eating it up! The game ended with a 1-1 tie which was disappointing although the game was very exciting. The teams got in a fight on the field, one of our players was given a red card, and we scored our goal a few minutes before the clock ran out. I still have a raspy voice from too much cheering! After the game we enjoyed a wonderful entourage of fireworks with patriotic music bursting it the background. We ended the night like any kid should and we splurged on some delicious 711 Slurpees! Yum!
The next day we went to Park City and had fun in the sun with some of our very wonderful family. Isn't family just the best?! We played in the pool, ate great food, and walked along main street while enjoying a cone stuffed with ice cream. It turned out to be the perfect day!
Scott and I both have a lot of gratitude for the many blessings and freedoms that we have here in our wonderful homeland. We are so blessed. God bless America!
