Happy Birthday Week

This past week was my birth week and boy did everyone make me feel special. I have such a sweet husband, sisters, in-laws, and mom (my dad forgot to call me- what a joke!).

Jackie and Craig spoiled me the entire week with one present per day. SO FUN! I would run home from school each day so I could open the mailbox and find another birthday surprise. Everything was so wonderful and fun. Since marrying Scott, Jackie has tremendously contributed to the Ali Jewelry, Clothing and Picture Collection(all capitalized b/c I think it's legit). Whenever I am wearing a new necklace or pair of earrings my sisters say, "That's cute. Did Jackie give it to you?"

On Friday Scott and I went to Tucanos and The Blind Side with some friends. We love Tucanos and we love our friends- it was a great evening!

On Saturday, my actual Birthday, Scott and I woke up bright and early to run a 5k sponsored by the Red Cross. It was super fun. We are pretty slow runners but we made a goal to run faster than 10 minute miles. We succeeded.

After the race, Scott and I came home to a decorated and delicious smelling house full of people. My sisters surprised me with a waffle party. The waffles were absolutely DELICIOUS. We alsoindulged ourselves in cake and mini cheesecakes at that time. Let's just say, it's a good thing I went running.

And Scott, he was so nice to me and spent lots of time with me alllllll day.

This is my longest post ever and it is all about me. Oh boy.
