Snowbird

This weekend started off with quite a tragedy. To make a long story short, on Friday at 4:30 pm we had plane tickets to Hawaii. By Friday night at 8:00 pm we were plane (and plain) ticketless. Never to see Hawaii, never to bask in her warm sun, and never to curl our toes in her white sand. Tragic.

On a brighter note, we did enjoy an unexpected weekend getaway to Snowbird- Utah's most beautiful and relaxing sanctuary (outside of St. George). Snowbird during the summer is grand. The mountain air, the landscape, the birds, the rushing water, and the cool mountain breeze combine into one large snapshot of bliss (too bad we forgot our camera). We were delighted to be the grinning faces in that snapshot.
