EAT: Tonight we had a fat, but fun Super Bowl party. We invited a few of our friends over and fried everything that we could get our hands on. Onions, potatoes, shrimp, chicken wings, and even pickles! As if this smorgasbord wasn't chubby enough, we decided to throw pizza, soda, chocolate cake, chips, and guacamole into the mixture. WOW-I am overwhelmed just thinking about all of those delicious calories. Let's just say, it's a good thing that today was Fast Sunday and this greasy meal was our only meal.
PLAY: Scott and I always make sure we have enough time to do the things that we love. I have been reading, running, and crafting quite a bit lately. Scott has been playing, watching, and coaching a lot of basketball lately.
LOVE: Valentine's day came early for me this year-sweet Scott walked in the door yesterday with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. I love unexpected surprises, especially when they are from my sweet husband and bursting with vibrant colors. I love Valentine's day and think it is great excuse to treat those you love extra special! Our secret is to celebrate this day of love a week or two early-it is cheaper and less crowded.
ps, this post is in no way a tribute to the recent movie, Eat, Pray, Love. That movie was long, boring, and not worth 2.5 hours of my life.
