Well, we finally did it. We went to Vegas and saw The Lion King! I have been wanting to see this show since I was 17, and Scott and I have been talking about seeing it for the past 2 years. Even with such high expectations, it did not disappoint-we loved it. The costuming was amazing and the set was totally thrilling. What a great experience!
After the show we drove back to St. George only to be treated to a delicious smoked turkey dinner. It was like Thanksgiving all over again with delicious potatoes, gravy, stuffing, rolls, and cranberry sauce. yummmmmm. Now that, my friends, beats any and every overpriced Las Vegas buffet!
We saw this in Vegas for our first anniversary. I am glad you enjoyed it as much as we did. It even made me cry. Next if you haven't seen it is Phantom of the Opera.
