Well, another month has flown by, which means my baby is no longer a newborn, but officially an infant. The most exciting thing that has happened this month, and really in the past 2 days, is Bo's infatuation with books. I love reading, and I am so happy that my little fella has caught on so early.
3 Month old Bo:
-very happy 98.78% of the time
-smiles all day long
-has laughed a few times
-loves staring at himself in mirrors
-loves playing with toys on his mat
-thinks picture books are the best
-thinks the tv is even better (unfortunately)
-grasps our fingers, toys, and anything else he can get his paws on
-great sleeper, napper, and eater
-enjoys tummy time (finally)
-stares at his mama, whenever she is around
-likes to be held facing out
-does not love cuddling (sad, I know)
Bo,
Our hearts are full with so much love for you, our dear little baby boy. Your mom and dad are completely consumed by you. We talk about you. We laugh about you. We stare at pictures/videos of you. We love nothing more than to spend time with you.
You are growing up way too fast, and each day we hope that we will be able to remember all of your precious smiles, noises, and giggles. When your dad comes home at night, I am bursting with stories to tell him about you. Do you get it yet? We are obsessed with you.
You will not always stare at your mama like she is the greatest thing on the planet, but for now I will cherish every second of it. Someday you will talk back to us, and maybe say mean things, but for now we get to choose everything you "say." You tell us that you love us, that we are the best, and that you think we are really funny.
Bo, simply put, we love you.
-Mom & Dad
I remember Anthony always preferred looking out. I think he didn't want to miss anything in this wide wonderful world. He sounds adorable. It is the mommy and daddy's duty to be obsessed with their little one. :) Keep up the love.
