Scenes From a Sunny Weekend

I captured a few shots of these beauties. I love flowers, I love my birthday, and I love my husband. He was very proud of this bouquet. He picked out the separate flowers for this arrangement, rather than buying a pre-made bouquet. Very cute and thoughtful.
I made my own variations of this recipe. They were both delicious. I haven't blogged about my Kitchenaid yet. I love it. It has given me wings to fly. Before my Kitchenaid, I was afraid of any baking that involved yeast. I am now invincible.

We are still trying to figure out why feta cheese does not melt in the oven. Any ideas?
Bo is just as sweet and adorable as always. He is starting to show his personality. He is a pretty relaxed little baby, but he is also very dramatic at times.

He has had a stuffy nose lately, and is on a bit of a nursing strike. I think this strike is due to his stuffy nose and to us giving him too many bottles in Vegas. Live and learn, right? I will keep trying to get him back to nursing, but until then, I will pump away and bottle feed him. I am so grateful we have a nice breast pump. I am trying to stay positive with this, and just keep telling myself that pumping only adds about 5 minutes to each feeding.
Beautiful little flowers are popping up all over the yard. They make me smile. Spring is coming.
How was your weekend?
