St. George

Before heading to San Diego, we spent a couple days in St. George. We were planning on spending Memorial weekend in St. George before we planned our trip to San Diego, and flights were super cheap from Vegas to San Diego, so we turned our trip into a St. George San Diego sandwich (St. George was the bread). It really was the perfectly balanced sandwich.

Bo developed a major crush on his Grandma Jackie while we were in St. George. All she had to do was hold out her arms, and no matter where he was, he would crawl on over to her, give her a giant smile, and hold out his hands to her in return. I love this baby so very much.

On our trip, Scott read The Hobbit. Let's just say that he was a bit obsessed and I may have gotten a little annoyed when I felt like The Hobbit was stealing all of my attention. I am happy that he loves to read a good book, but I am also happy that he is done with this book and back to spoiling me with his attention-I require a lot!

I absolutely love swimming, and the pool at Entrada makes swimming insanely enjoyable. Scott calls me a pool rat, because I am so happy spending the entire day at the pool. He says he also likes swimming, but I hardly believe him, because his swimming pool fun maxes out at about 1.5 hours (there must be poolside delivery for me to get this extra half hour out of him). Luckily, I think Bo will be my little swimming buddy all summer long. He loves the water. The pool here is so beautiful and the backdrop is stunning. I am ready to go back. Right now.
ps, we received great news about Bo and his test results. I am just waiting to reconnect with the doctor before putting any further information on here. Thank you for all the prayers.

  2. That sounds like such an amazing sandwich. I love that you're enjoying your summer and getting to travel and spend time in the sun and pool. I will live vicariously through you until the day I can treat this weather like the summer it is.
