The other night, Scott and I spent a couple hours out in our garden. We pulled weeds, managed our tomato plants that have grown wildly huge, and admired our budding vegetables.
When I was a kid, I seriously hated gardening and weeding, and could not understand why anyone would choose to do such a thing. I would complain and complain to my mom, telling her I didn;t understand why I had to do any work in HER garden. My, how times have changed! Working in our garden is now one of my favorite activities.
We planted everything from seed, and it is almost unfathomable to me that these miniature little seeds can grow into huge food producing machines. I am reminded of how very much our Heavenly Father loves us when I spend time outside, and especially when I am in our garden. This earth we live on is amazing and this life that we live is such a miracle.
