Corn Harvest

Tonight, we picked and shucked our harvest of corn. As you can see, it was meager. We laughed at the smallness and randomness (notice the long skinny and almost bare piece on the bottom left of the below picture) of the ears of corn. Our growing corn was covered by shade the majority of the day (rookie gardening mistake), so we are happy that anything grew from the tiny kernels we planted a few months ago.

I placed the corn on a bench in the backyard, and seconds later, Bo was on the bench and tasting every single ear of corn. He would take a quick taste and then WHAM, throw it to the side. He did that exactly 12 times, until all of the corn was on the ground. This is his new favorite game. I'm pretty sure every little kid loves repeatedly throwing objects onto the ground, but as first time parents, we find this new activity hilarious (and annoying at times).
