Homemade jam is delicious and far superior to any jam found in a store, which is why Kelli and I spent hours picking, cleaning, crushing, and stirring tons of raspberries! We grossly overestimated the amount of raspberries we would need for a couple batches of jam, so we ended up making 5 full batches! The above picture is just half of our accomplishment, the other half is at Kelli's house, safely tucked away in the freezer.We made our jam last week, but I was so raspberried out from the entire experience, that I didn't open a jar to test it out until tonight. I am happy to report that my first experiment with homemade jam was completely successful! The jam looks, tastes, and smells perfect.
