JAMboree

Homemade jam is delicious and far superior to any jam found in a store, which is why Kelli and I spent hours picking, cleaning, crushing, and stirring tons of raspberries! We grossly overestimated the amount of raspberries we would need for a couple batches of jam, so we ended up making 5 full batches! The above picture is just half of our accomplishment, the other half is at Kelli's house, safely tucked away in the freezer.

We made our jam last week, but I was so raspberried out from the entire experience, that I didn't open a jar to test it out until tonight. I am happy to report that my first experiment with homemade jam was completely successful! The jam looks, tastes, and smells perfect.
