Well today we are in Atlanta. We took a red eye flight from SLC last night. We arrived in Atlanta at a bright and early 6am (4am SLC time). We decided/Scott decided to start off the morning and our vacation the right way-the Popeye's fried chicken and biscuit way. Classic.
The large southern woman behind the counter greeted us with a very enthusiastic, How can I help you baby?!?! Do you want eggs and cheese on that? We walked away without eggs or cheese on top of our greasy chicken and biscuit sandwiches, despite the outrageous peer pressure coming from that sweet woman. We thought a buttery biscuit and fried chicken would be more than sufficient. It was.
We had plans to go out and experience Atlanta, but we were hooked up with passes to the crown room. Bliss. I put a couple chairs together and took a nice 3 hour nap. I also enjoyed the free packets of nutella and pretzels/crackers. I LOVE nutella and have made a pact with myself(after eating entirely too much nutella while on study abroad) to only eat this delicacy in Europe-we're basically in Europe, right??
And that’s that-the beginning of our journey to Europe land.
I hope you post everyday about your adventures :)
ReplyDeletethat airport is massive, huh? I had a Nathan's Famous hotdog there when I was passing through. Gotta love that southern food. Have a blast trip!
