4 Months

It is hard to believe that my baby is 4 months old, it seems like we drove him home from the hospital just last week. Every parent says this, but kids grow up too fast! Bo is at such a fun stage right now. He is learning so many things everyday, developing a cute and happy personality, and becoming more independent. I truly think that Bo makes being a mom a fairly easy task.

4 month old Bo
-Weight: 13 lbs (16th percentile)
-Height: 25.5 inches (67th percentile)
-Smiles at everyone (the cashier, flight attendant, family, friends, strangers, etc)
-Loves sucking on anything and everything (toys, fingers, feet, etc). He gets mad if he can't have something in his mouth at all times.
-Rolls over from his tummy to his back
-Enjoys his exersaucer
-Stands up when we hold his hands, or when he is in his exersaucer
-Sleeps really well through the night (except when he is sick, which has been the past 2 weeks)
-LOVES his mom and dad
-Is getting better in his car seat
-Looks adorable with a fohawk
-Is an absolute and complete joy

Bo,

Another month has passed, and we have grown to love you even more with everyday. You are sick right now with a sinus infection. It makes us so sad to hear your little cough and stuffy nose. I slept with you on the couch the other night, because you were having a hard time sleeping with your stuffy nose. Somehow, being in your mama's arms made sleeping so much easier for you. I felt special being able to cuddle you through the night and make you feel better-I loved every sleepless second of it. I was reminded of when you were just a few days old, and would not sleep in your crib. Your dad and I would take turns sleeping with you on the couch. Although, at the time, it was hard to have so many sleepless nights, I know that when you are all grown up, we will miss those nights so very much.

We love you Bo. Life without you just wouldn't be as sweet. You are our perfect little angel.
