We spent the past week visiting my family in California. Trips to Eureka are too few and far between. I love going home and spending quality time with my family. We had a blast, and I can't wait to go back!
One of our favorite Eureka past times is enjoying endless amounts of crab. My dad owns a couple commercial fishing boats (I know, no big deal, right?), and when Scott and I come into town, he has the crew drop off as many of these little creatures as we think we can handle. My mom hates crab, and the smell of it, so we set up tables outside, melt some butter, grab a couple drinks, and crack away. One night, Scott and I got a late night craving, so we sat outside and cracked and enjoyed a couple of fresh crabs around 11pm. YUMMMMMM!
oh YUM! It must have been so nice to go home for a bit. We need to have the three of you over for dinner to hear all about your adventures!
