Grease & Food

This past weekend we spent some time in St. George. If you know us, you know how much we love St. George time. A weekend filled with Craig & Jackie, good food, warm sun, swimming, golf, and naps is always a fabulous weekend.

Jackie and Craig surprised us with 2nd row tickets to Grease at the Tuacahan, and we all loved it! Really, we rate the shows that we have seen at the Tuacahan right up there with the other Broadway shows we have seen. If you have not visited this Utah treasure, it is time that you also make the trek down to St. George! It is magical to watch the outside stage transform into such a grand production. Grease was especially fun, because they drove around real cars and motorcycles. What a blast!

When we got home from St. George, Scott and I made a meal that really showcased the fruits of our labors. The tomato, basil, and zucchini came straight out of our little garden. This is our first year of gardening (many more will follow, I am sure) and I would say it has been quite a success! Also, let us not forget the salmon that was so skillfully caught by my pregnant self and Scott. Yum, yum, yum!
